A taste of the Netherlands, made in Cincinnati

Poffertjes are the small, fluffy Dutch pancakes cooked in a cast-iron griddle full of shallow round wells — a fixture of European market stalls, and still unfamiliar enough here that most guests have never tried one.

We have been building our presence in Cincinnati since 2023. We are members of Findlay Kitchen and run a recurring monthly pop-up at Findlay Market, which is where a lot of this city first met us.

We have also served Taste of Cincinnati for three consecutive years, serving more than 1,700 customers across each three-day festival. Those weekends taught us how to hold quality under pressure, and they are where we test new ideas directly on real customers — which is exactly how the chocolate-covered strawberries went from an experiment to a full station.

What we care about is the moment the food is made. Guests watch the batter go in, pick their own toppings, and eat it warm. That is a different job from dropping off trays, and it is the only kind of catering we want to do.
